Ohio driver shoots at kids who told him to slow down
Police in Akron, Ohio, are trying to find a person who opened fireplace with a semiautomatic gun at a bunch of college children enjoying avenue basketball after they advised him to decelerate.
The person was rushing down Rockaway Avenue in a white Pontiac G6 with tinted home windows and non permanent plates when one child yelled on the man to decelerate.
“He pulled out the gun, and turned and shot at him, three fires,” Dolly Younger, whose 11-year-old son Alex was among the many youngsters enjoying, told local news WKYC.
The shooter had been aiming for Alex’s pal, 15-year-old neighbor Markeise Smith.
“He [the driver] needs to be locked up for what he did since you shouldn’t shoot at children as a result of they let you know to decelerate,” Smith advised the station.
The incident was caught on cellphone video and turned over to the police who’re investigating the incident.
“This may be traumatic for anybody, particularly a 15- and an 11-year-old attempting to play. Any info might help. It’s like a puzzle. Each piece helps deliver this particular person to justice and have them reply for his or her crime,” Capt. Dave Laughlin advised the channel.
