The Premier League mentioned on Monday that there was one positive end result from the latest spherical of COVID-19 tests of gamers and workers performed final week, taking the total variety of circumstances to 19 since testing started final month.

“The Premier League can today confirm that between Monday 22 June and Sunday 28 June, 2,250 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19. Of these, one person has tested positive,” the league mentioned in an announcement.
The league didn’t reveal the membership or the identify of the person who examined positive.
Since gamers returned to contact coaching final month, exams have been carried out since May 17 and the league has performed 11 rounds of testing to date.
